In the middle is a jumbotron display that shows replays of the last action that occurred (a goal, off-sides, out of play, or foul). The scores for each team are shown on the far left and right. In Backyard Soccer, the Score-U-Tronic is again green. Other details, such as the flags and the dots, are removed altogether. On the right is the Humongo Vision, similar to the jumbotron in many ballparks it displays a short message or skit between innings. Below the batters is the pitcher currently on the mound, along with his or her earned run average (ERA). The icons have been removed, while batting averages and hit rates for the game are added. The scores are shown at the bottom of the Score-U-Tronic, and the next batters up are shown to the left.
In Backyard Baseball 2005, the Score-U-Tronic received an overhaul. Other than this, the only differences between these versions are cosmetic, such as 1997 having a baseball-themed clock and loudspeakers while 20 have the game's logo and MLB and MLBPA logos instead.
